My name is Brian Annunziata.
I currently reside in Florida. I have two children, Giovanni- 23, and Izabella-21. I was a professional body-builder in my younger years and I have always been interested in creating the best possible clothing for people who not only like to look good but who also love to sweat. I always found that my gym clothes tended to wear out quickly and I swore that if I were ever able and lucky enough to create clothing for my fellow gym rat brothers and sisters, I would make something durable and good looking. Something to last. Something that meant everything.
We named our company Nunzi Sports Gear because with a name like Annunziata, how can you go wrong! Nunzi is the natural choice! It just feels right. When I was growing up everyone in my neighborhood had a nickname Binga, Litch. Mo, Engle. We hope you enjoy our clothing as much as we do. We are excited to have you as a customer and a friend. MY JOURNEY THROUGH PROSTATE CANCER
My story began in 2008 in Memphis, Tennessee, when the doctor told me my PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) had jumped from 4.5 to 5. PSA is a key factor in determining risk of prostate cancer. When those levels slowly rose, I began researching my options. In 2014, I was diagnosed with intermediate-stage prostate cancer.
In my book I chronicle how and where I chose the various doctors for consultation and treatments, the timing for a biopsy, cutting-edge radiation therapy that kept me from further physical damage, and hormone replacement therapy a year afterward to get my life back on track. Prostate cancer doesn’t have to be a death sentence.
We designed our logo with the letter ‘X” to represent excellence and highlight the X chromosome, which we all have. This is the sports gear for all. The DNA helix in the middle of the X because we are all somebody unique. WE ARE all Somebody and should get the respect from one another. The “X” because we are an all inclusive company that welcomes all walks of life. The double Helix represents that we are also a little different but are one with each other. We are all stronger together than divided. We all have the potential to reach the level of excellence that we choose for ourselves and use our individual genetic makeup to obtain our goals. We are all made up of our own self-defining DNA, and we all have the ability to reach for the stars. Hence, the X with our own identity wrapped up in it. **Do the work and make No Excuses and you will obtains the Goals you set forth. Seize the Day. Everyday!

One day while watching our son play basketball with his buddies, we noticed that they were all wearing their shorts on top of their long underwear. We thought about combining the two so that their mothers would only have to wash and fold one garment instead of two. Plus, it is the ultimate cool kind of forward-thinking fashion! We filed the patent on having the spandex undergarment and the shorts being one piece. Also, the pocket on the spandex piece features a hole on the pocket for any connection for your phone or electronic device. We also have incorporated a no fade rubberized technology that keeps our lettering fresh and prevents fading after tons of washing.
Our slogan “No Excuses” is meant to inspire us on days when we just don’t feel like doing what we know we should be doing. We’ve all had the days when we were just not motivated and tired, or we want to hit the snooze button one more time. Well, no more! There are no excuses! Get up, get going and work to achieve your goal. Throw on our ready to wear tee shirts and work-out gear and get moving!
